Declan and Jordan are a top tier ship because their character development goes so hand in hand. Like they’ve both been pretending to be someone they’re not for such a long time. Declan by forcing himself into the dullest persona possible to protect his brothers and Jordan quite literally pretending to be Hennessy to protect her sisters. Then the painting scene, Jordan choosing Declan to be her first act of real independence and Declan choosing Jordan to be the one he lets his act slip around.
